This names confuses you? Well, you are not alone.. let me try to explain


✅ Playa de Mogan, Puerto de Mogan and Pueblo de Mogan are all different areas in the municipality of Mogán, in the southwestern part of Gran Canaria


✅ MOGAN is the name of the municipality that includes resorts as such as Arguineguin, Patalavaca, Anfi del Mar, Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogán, as well as Amadores, Tauro, Playa del Cura and Taurito. It is known for its beautiful landscapes, scenic beaches, and rich history. It is a popular destination for tourists from around the world who come to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea.


✅ The village of MOGÁN , PUEBLO MOGAN / MOGÁN CASCO is a village located in the interior of the island, away from the coast. It is known for its traditional architecture and is a popular destination for tourists who want to experience the local culture.

It is 12 km from the port in Puerto de Mogan. MOGAN is the administrative center of the municipality. When out of the last tunnel go right and follow the road up in The Valley


✅ PUERTO DE MOGÁN is the resort which was built on land reclaimed from the sea , the port and the little Venice area. It is known for its colorful buildings and lively atmosphere, as well as its beautiful harbor and canals.


✅ PLAYA DE MOGÁN the origin name of the village. Avenida de la Castillete, between the old village and the port area marks the original shore-line. In the absence of a harbor, the fishing boats were launched from the beach. Playa is Spanish word for beach.
