This list is made for you who has not been in Mogan before a typical beginner:
1) Go for a stroll in the port. Do not miss the alleys behind the port with sailing boats and local fishermen boats. There are so many flowers and plants . Its specially known for the magenta colored paper-flowers / Bougainvilleas. But be aware, the chances that you will fall in love is high and will cause you a need to return to this resort again and again. It is very addictive.
2) Have a dip in the sea and enjoy the Atlantic ocean refreshing and clean sea and do nothing other than suck up some nice D-vitamins. Puerto de Mogan has what is considered by many as the worlds best climate
3) Dont leave this resort without having had a lunch on the beachside and a dinner in the port. There are approximately 70 restaurants in Puerto de Mogan - there are plenty to choose between. The quality is over all very good. Dont forget to try local, fresh fish and the well known starter Gambas Ajillo (Garlic Prawns)
4) Take a ferry to or from Puerto Rico, Amfi del Mar or Arguineguin. A wonderful way to see the coastline and maybe you have luck and spots dolphins!
5) Take a walk true the old part of town. Start from the post office and climb the steps to the view point El Mirador. It will give you breathtaking views over the whole Puerto de Mogan and the Atlantic ocean all the way to El Pajar, Arguineguin.
6) Morning Yoga or Gym at beach. Everyday Monday to Friday 9.00 am behind the big rock in the end og the beach Lenka is having "Yoga for all" all levels and everybody welcome.
7) Go to the light house in the end of the port; Beach Club El Faro - a nice place for sunset and cocktails or any other drinks. On a clear day you will se Spains highest mountain Teide on the island Tenerife. It is spectacular.
8) Walk around in the port and look at he sailboats from different places in Europe - some is maybe waiting for Passat winds to come to sail over to The Caribbean others are using their boats as an apartment on Sea. Dont forget to look at the fishes in the port - maybe bring whats left of your bread roll and you will attract lots of them.
9) Go for a drink! In the street next to the little Chapel or along the Riverside or by Hotel Cordial Mogan Playa in the shopping center there are some really nice bars well worth a visit.
To be mentioned: The Outlaws ( live Country Music) Robs Bar ( no food, just drinks) La Casita (wine bar with lovely tapas ) Nigels Bar ( friendly service ) N24 (best location at the seafront) Hola Hola Bar (a must visit in the port) Bar Sarito (the oldest bar in town) and not to forget Los Hermanos, AriJan and Bar Cafe Quintin
10) Capture photos for memories when dark and cold days are catching you and send at least one postcard to someone you think deserve it
