▶️MARKET DAY BACK next Friday, 1st of October ◀️

✅The municipal markets of Playa de Mogán and Arguineguín will be held again from October 1 after more than a year and a half cancelled due the pandemic.

✅It has been establish the measures under which they must be developed to guarantee the safety of sellers and visitors.

✅The markets of the municipality of Mogán will be held with capacity control, the maximum allowed being 75% if Gran Canaria remains in phase 2 alert level.

To do this, the enclosures will be delimited with fencing and security tapes, material that will also be used to establish the routes inside, so that crowds can be avoided.

✅ People who wish to visit them should make use of ❗️the mask at all times and will find hydroalcoholic gel at their disposal in each of the stations❗️ as well as in other itinerant points that will be installed.

✅ specific area for the consumption of food and beverages that the different positions may offer. Therefore, if a person buys food for immediate consumption, he will only be able to do it in that area.

✅ Regarding the cleaning of the premises, in addition to the extra resources that the Local Administration will allocate on the days of the market, the merchants will try to leave their position as collected as possible, as established by the municipal regulations of this type of sale. Likewise, a greater number of containers will be placed.

✅The Playa de Mogán market will be next Friday, October 1, recovering its usual day of celebration each week.

In the same way, that of Arguineguín, which will take place again on Tuesdays, the first taking place after the health crisis on October 5. As a novelty, from then on the Arguineguín municipal market will be held exclusively in the so-called Plaza Negra, and not in Juan Manuel Santana García and Juan Juana streets. On the other hand, also every Tuesday, the craft market will return to the Plaza de Las Marañuelas.

➡Tuesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Arguineguín (Plaza Negra de Arguineguín; Plaza de Las Marañuelas (artisan)
